Rugged IoT Devices

We used the IP67 standard to design and build sensor units meant to be "set-and-forgot" in the wild.

Connectivity Anywhere

Using the IoT-NB band (LTE), the device interfaces with all major cell carriers in the US.

AWS Cloud

AWS is pennies on the dollar against the cost of traditional hosting, with off the shelf options readily available.

In the last two decades, our planet has significantly warmed up due to climate change. While a natural occuring event, our current post-ice age warmup has been faster than ever previously recorded in history. This is partially due to man-made effects of greenhouse gas consumption.

This system is designed to interface with other EDCX units to build a holistic picture of the local environmental weather foot print.
  • Phase I - The base unit which will provide data on wind speed and direction, rain fall, barometric pressure, UV strength, light strength, lightning strikes and distance.
  • Phase II - The expansion tower will provide AQI and PPM data on the chemical composition of what's in the air you breath.
  • Phase III - The soil expansion unit that will return values based on soil conditions.

About Us

What make this project awesome?

Knowing that we took software, hardware, and platform engineers, sprinkled in some cloud and a side of lithium ion and solar, and we built the systems from the ground up.

Thank you for stopping by. If you didn't get the hint before, please get it now. This is not for general public consumption. This is a sarcastic, brash, personal project analyzing environmental data for monitoring changes in growth cycles due to climate change. You want to help fight climate change and restore the planet? You already know what to do.
